Blackwell Business Centre – rooms to rent

Blackwell Business Centre is a great place to work! Since its conception over twenty years ago it has been a launch pad for new businesses as well as a platform for small businesses to thrive and grow. The easy in/easy out terms of rental are a godsend for those who do not want to commit to long leases.

Over the years the building has seen many changes, with the refurbishment of all offices and the creation of a training centre. this can be booked on the web site  – go to ‘book a meeting room’ and save the date! Room rental can be full rental or partial rental.

Installation of high speed optic fibre broadband means internet connection is excellent, something people really value in todays fast paced world. Plus there’s free parking outside and in the vicinity – a bit rare these days! You can walk to town or to Sainsbury’s for lunch!

Room hireRoom 7 is a spacious, ground floor room of nearly 200 square feet. It is described as a ‘shared room’ – the day is divided into 3 sessions, and you can rent any combination of these sessions in a week. For instance, you could have a Monday morning, a Wednesday afternoon, then a Friday evening. Perfect for therapists getting started with their new consultancy! We have seen many flourish over the years into full time consultancies and for these, we have rooms which can be rented 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year if you wish!

The kitchen is supplied with a refrigerator for sandwiches, salads and milk. Plus there are two dishwashers so no need to wash up – it’s all done for you. It’s become a place to meet other people in the building and to take a bit of ‘time out’ in the busy day. The garden is accessed from here. when the summer is good we have barbeques on the lawn. This has created a strong sense of community over the years. Self employed? You needn’t feel you are alone!

We are well connected! Darlington train station is a 3 minute drive from Blackwell Business Centre, plus the A1(M) is easily accessed, as is the A19. What to do to get in touch?
