Immunity starts in the mouth

Oil pulling therapy has its roots in the Ayurvedic tradition. It involves rinsing your mouth with coconut oil for between 5 and 20 minutes. This has the effect of improving the health and appearance of both the teeth and soft tissues of the mouth. However it also acts to systematically pull toxins from the body in general.

Our mouths are home to billions off bacteria, viruses fungi and other parasites and their waste products. A ghastly thought, but one well known to dentists! The link between these microorganisms and oral/systemic disease is well established. Using DNA profiling over 19,000 different types of oral bacteria have now been identified.

Oil pulling is best done first thing in the morning but if that isn’t possible, try last thing at night. Ideally start with a small teaspoon for 5 minutes and build up to 20 minutes whenever time allows.

Oil pulling with coconut oil is relatively cheap. The only expense is the oil itself and your precious time. However after one month of regular use, you will see and feel the benefits.

Of all oils, Coconut Oil is considered superior because of its antiviral, antibacterial and anti-protozoan properties derived from monolaurin.
